VTL project development process is structured in five phases and is focused on achieving excellence in quality and lead times while meeting the profit target set at the onset of the project.
This is ensured by:
- Making quality the top priority throughout the project life.
- Working closely with suppliers to obtain top quality products and services.
- Making zero defects the norm and reacting immediately during the pre-production runs.
- Training and developing all personnel in a total quality approach.
- Ensure all deliverables are achieved on time (tooling, prototypes, intial samples, pre-production runs, packaging availability, etc.)
- Creating and maintaining a clean and safe working environment to foster Total Quality.
- Gaining the trust of customers by anticipating and responding to their needs and requirements.
Progress within each individual phase is recorded and monitored during weekly project reviews and monthly project committees.
Phase changes are controlled and approved by the Quality Manager and the Managing Director.
